Red Phones

Red Phone

Do you know where the closest red phone is located in your unit or department?

Red phones serve as a separate phone system. They are not part of the Suburban’s VOIP phone systems and can be used to send or receive calls to Suburban during an emergency. Red phones should be used only if Suburban’s main phone system is not available. The list of red phone lines is located on SHIP.
