March 30 is Doctor's Day
National Doctor’s Day is this Saturday, March 30! It is a holiday designed to honor physicians for the work they do for patients, communities and society as a whole. To celebrate, we will be hosting a special luncheon every day this week, Monday – Friday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Physician’s Lounge.

New Prevention Guidelines for Cardiovascular Diseases Working with the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology, Johns Hopkins cardiologists have released updated guidelines designed to prevent a first heart attack, stroke, heart failure and atrial fibrillation. Do you know where the closest red phone is located in your unit or department?
Red phones serve as a separate phone system. They are not part of the Suburban’s VOIP phone systems and can be used to send or receive calls to Suburban during an emergency. Red phones should be used only if Suburban’s main phone system is not available. The list of red phone lines is located on SHIP.
