Society of Hospitalist Medicine Award
Misha Zilbermint, and his team, specifically his summer student/research assistant, Samantha Mandel, presented the abstract “Inpatient Diabetes Management Service, Length of Stay and 30-day Readmission Rate of Patients with Diabetes at a Community Hospital” to the Society of Hospitalist Medicine (SHM)
Samantha presented the abstract and they won the award. Their abstract and poster will be presented at the SHM spring meeting in 2019.
Mandatory Flu Vaccinations Beginning October 8, 2018
We will offer free flu vaccine clinics to our employees, physicians, and volunteers as we have done every year, at various locations and times for your convenience. The flu clinic schedule and a detailed “Frequently Asked Questions” document will be placed on the SHIP Intranet or can be obtained from your manager. Those who receive the flu vaccine outside of Suburban Hospital will be required to provide documentation to Employee Health. The final flu clinic will be held on November 16, 2018. The deadline for vaccination and documentation is also November 16, 2018.
